Usage rules for Instruments

  • 1 - The instruments will be operated only by properly trained users. The training will be scheduled periodically or on demand. Training dates will be posted online and send by user mail lists. The lab managers and group students will be available occasionally to assist users with instrument operation.
  • 2 - Users are responsible for the interpretation and assignment of the collected data. The support provided is only technical and any other form of aid should be established in the form of mutual cooperation arrangements between the parties.
  • 3 - Instruments request proposals must be submmited in a specific form identifying the techniques that will be used so the correct multiuser instrument can be made available. The proposal should describe any equipment and support necessary to perform the proposed experiment, especially when these are not already available in the laboratory.
  • 4 - The management committee will review the proposal in terms of their potential for success and will get in contact to schedule the use.
